GOG.com Contest Week starts today!

Today we're launching the "GOG.com Contest Week" - each day, starting today until Friday, we'll post a new contest for the GOG community with some nice prizes. Every contest will be described in details as a news post. Now the best part is that from all the entrants we'll pick one user who will win the whole GOG.com catalogue up to date (including this week's new release)!

No time to waste as there are already some contests ongoing:

  • Guess these games - ends on Sunday, October 10 at 11:59 p.m. EDT
  • Name the GOGmix - ends on Monday, October 11 at 11:59 p.m. EDT
  • GOG.com Crossword - ends on Tuesday, October 12 at 11:59 p.m. EDT
  • Caption contest - ends on Tuesday, October 12 at 11:59 p.m. EDT
  • Create a GOG.com ad - ends on Wednesday, October 13 at 11:59 p.m. EDT

Good luck everyone and have fun!

    Okay, this IS pretty cool.
    7
The whole catalog? You guys are nuts! In a good way, though.

After the pr stunt I expected you would have gifted the whole catalog to ALL the Good Old Users to humbly ask for forgiveness, you got new users anyway, so what's the point of making the old one pay for games :D

    However interesting prize.
    9
Is a new external harddrive for immediatly backup also inclusive? ;-)

Nah, just kidding. This is really a good pr, so welcome back to the bright side of life.

Just sent my answers for contests 1, 2, 3 and 4 in a single email. I hope you get it correctly!

    Cheers!

I wonder if there would be a way to standardize these sorts of entries. Like private messages, linked to an account. Maybe they wanted to encourage people who don't have an account to participate, but I imagine it must be pretty difficult to sort through all these emails.

I may have missed it, sorry if it's so, but will the winners for the individual contests be announced separately (and if so, on which days), or will the whole contest week have one big conclusion, in which you'll announce both the individual winners and the lucky one who got the Grand Prize?

Edit: Posted in Wrong thread ... nothing to see here ... move along.

Thats a good question. Will there be a post on the community forums or will we be notified via email?
