TotalBiscuit says: Enjoy one of the best turn-based games ever devised.
TotalBiscuit says: And now enjoy the best turn-based game ever devised. No really, an addictive and infinitely replayable turn-based strategy with a dash of RPG for good measure. Comes with both expansions and about 324958324985 campaigns.
TotalBiscuit says: One of the most original games of all time and nobody bought it. Thanks for killing Shiny ya dimwits! Repent and get this game at once. Check out my video for more info as to why. Also Tim Curry.
TotalBiscuit says: The single-player is fairly lack-lustre, the voice-acting laughable and that godawful singing at the start makes me want to vomit, but it and it's predecessor Earth 2150 are still deep and innovative RTS games.
TotalBiscuit says: The best one was the first one, enjoy this epoch-spanning RTS in the vein of Age of Empires. Drop nuclear bombs on knights, enjoy the carnage, though I would recommend starting in the 3rd epoch, since stone age is fairly dull.
TotalBiscuit says: Certainly one of the best baseless RTS games ever made and a great template for Massive who went onto make the stellar World in Conflict. You can see where they got their artillery ideas from by playing this.
TotalBiscuit says: Completing the magic-themed strategy games we've got the remake of King's Bounty which can only be described as a colourful, enjoyable time-vampire, blending RPG with turn-based strategy battles.
TotalBiscuit says: I would honestly like to give this game a 5 but simply due to the unwieldy nature of combat in end-game I can't. Regardless, probably the finest space-based 4x game ever made. Avoid Master of Orion 3 at all costs.
TotalBiscuit says: If you can get over the aged graphics, there is little more satisfying than Microprose's finest hour that desperately needs a proper remake.
TotalBiscuit says: This is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me. It's weird, the story makes very little sense but it has sufficient innovation to make it worth while. Plus BIG GLOWY PURPLE SHIELDS
TotalBiscuit says: Stronghold is the best castle-building game ever made. The series went downhill after Crusader so consider this the definitive version. A quirky sense of humour and excellent siege simulation are the highlights here.
TotalBiscuit says: When it comes to historical economic management strategy games, only Zeus beats out Caeser 3.
TotalBiscuit says: The best RTS ever made? Certainly in the Top 3. Regardless of it's updated remake in the Spring engine, nothing quite tops the original and it still holds up surprisingly well despite it's age.
Treat your GOGmix as your child - name it! ;)
Coming up with a cool and descriptive title should be your first priority. Being original is in your best interest - bet you wanna get lots of nice votes, right? Go all crazy if you want, but be sure to keep it civil!
So, what are the ingredients?
Pick a game that belongs in your GOGmix from the list, or find it by typing something in the text field. Relevance is key here - Earthworm Jim doesn't quite fit the "Sexiest heroines of all time" bill now, does it?
Justify your choice... Or not!
OK, so it's not required, but now that you went through the trouble of adding a game, telling everyone why you did it would be a nice finishing touch. After you're done here, add another game, rinse, repeat.
