The best for pros and novices (by antihippie antihippie)
Chessmaster 9000 is one of the best chess games out there. Easy to learn, hard to master (by Cardian Cardian)
If you like chess, this is definitely your game. If you are a beginner, you will learn the basics and won't be frustrated. If you are a pro, the AI can be really challenging. Some of the different design sets can be a bit distracting, but then again: you don't have to use those. I personally liked the feature of learning important moves from famous games.
