Aliens of GOLD (by Vagabond Vagabond)

GFX are dated, gameplay is not. (by drmlessgames drmlessgames)
Blake Stone was released shortly after Doom II hit the markets, and way after it was at the top of everyone's have-to-buy list. This, plus the reality that Blake Stone was based on "older" technology than Doom II made most players completely overlook this title, a decision based on unfair criteria. My first FPS I ever played, and loved it! (by jamessnee1 jamessnee1)
That title was the same title I used for my review of this game on Mobygames.com. It still stands today. This game was one of the most underrated shooters of all time, It brought so much to the genre such as talking to sympathetic informants, dynamic lighting etc. It may be dated by todays standards, but if you want to escape for a few hours and relive the good old games, this is the perfect game!
