With today's release of the two final installments of the series, we can finally boast having a complete collection of all King's Quest titles.

King's Quest VII: The Princeless Bride is a point-and-click adventure game, much like the previous installments of the series. Its most distinguishing quality lies in its beautiful, high-resolution, Disney-style graphics. It is also the first King's Quest game with many protagonists and in which King Graham isn't present or even mentioned. King's Quest: Mask of Eternity, on the other hand, is the first and only game in the series to part with 2D graphics and the point-and-click control scheme. It is also the first game in which the main protagonist doesn't come from the Graham family. Some things remain constant throughout the King's Quest series, though. Both games' storylines are absolutely enthralling and and you can't really call yourself an adventure game fan if you haven't played them.

As some of you might have experienced, we had technical issues with processing credit card payments yesterday. Because of this some customers using credit card for purchases on GOG.com couldn't take advantage of the Apogee Pack promo. We managed to fix the problem and we decided to extend the promotion for one more day. So if you didn't manage to grab the Apogee Pack with a 50% discount, now it's your chance! The promo ends on Wednesday, September 1 at 5:59 a.m. EDT.

After obliterating all the cannon fodder reckless enough to stand in your way in the prequel, you must be itching for some more fast-paced action. Here it comes!

Serious Sam: The Second Encounter is the second installment of the acclaimed and addictive Serious Sam series. Packed with new content and missions, it's another great chance to turn off your brain for a while, let your reflexes take over and indulge yourself in another episode of guns-blazing mayhem. The most notable change, compared to the original, is the addition of new weapons: a chainsaw, a flamethrower, a sniper rifle, and the Serious Bomb. Armed with this vastly improved arsenal, our hero must bulldoze his way through hordes of enemies once again, make his way through different time periods, board an ancient starship and kill the greatest threat to Humanity. Sound simple enough?

True hardcore RPG -- Let's get one thing straight before we start exploring the greatness of this title. I like a challenge, and by that I mean a challenge originating from the game actually having gameplay that awards you for mastering different skills, and punishing for you for not thinking things through before acting. Gothic games have always been about that, having a combat system and a quest structure... full review

King's Quest's Peak and Downfall, together in one package. -- I honestly can't say that this package is worth buying. I'm surprised that GOG actually handled the King's Quest games the way they did at all, especially when Sierra already packaged 1-7 together in a product titled "King's Quest Collection."... full review

Not a bad game, but not great either. -- Two worlds is interestingly similar to Bethesda Softwork's best selling 2008 release title, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. I will write a comparative review to compare the two titles in several different categories. All ratings are out of ten and are comparative, one game will always receive a ten, the other number is for relative comparison between the games.... full review
