So, I'm in the mines and can't get to the elevator. Apparently, I'm screwed because you ABSOLUTELY need to block the minecart's way before it hits the elevator. How the hell was I supposed to know ? Oh well, old games design... Whatever. Problem is, I have done the egypt and london chapters... On a single save. That is, not only I'm completely stuck with no turning back, but I have to start the game over from the beginning ! And frankly, I don't feel like starting the game over, the london chapter really got on my nerves with the damned mob and the police all over the place, and the multiple tripwire death I had to suffer through the pyramid don't help either.

So, what I'm getting at is : Anybody has a save that takes place in the beginning of the mines chapter, and has the pyramid and london chapters already completed ? That'd be sweet. Otherwise I'll just have to delete the game and never mention it again in my life :D (I was raised on the "lucasarts" school of adventure games : no dead ends, no intrusive deaths)

Oh well, nevermind, that post was written in a fit of frustration and rage. I ended up restarting the game !

Honestly, if I own a game and find that you can "screw" yourself and have to start over, I straight up delete it. I can't stand that sort of design, and don't waste my time playing games that feel it is acceptable.

This isn't helpful and this thread is old, but I just felt like complaining.
