I've found Malloy's safe in the warehouse, and I have the combination, but when I'm done turning the dial, the safe doesn't open. Of course I've tried letting the dial stay on the numbers for a moment before going onto the next one, but this doesn't help at all.
If anyone here could help me out with this, I'd really appreciate it, as I want to continue playing this awesome game.

Found this in a walkthrough are you doing it exactly as described below?


SPOILERS!
The combination is obtained by taking the square root of each number on the ETS business card. Then click on the right hand side of the dial until you reach 22, the left until 31, back on the right until you reach 15, and finally on the left again until you reach 7. The safe opens.

Thanks, got it now. Like I said, I had all the right numbers -- it was the left hand/right hand side of the dial thing I didn't get right (didn't think it'd matter, really, but oh well).

you can also buy the safe craker from the electronics shop and attach to the safe. it gives you the numbers - glad you opened anyway

I figured out how to open the safe and did just that. At which point the safe opened, some paper inside the safe was show for a couple of seconds, then back to outside view. Nothing new in the Inventory. I repeated the same sequence several times, with the same result.,
What gives? What should I get from that safe and how (once t is already open)?
