i think on 1 of the screenshots on GOG there was an on-screen map,how can i
start this?im just at the beginning,but i already got the journal with the map.

Put afri's orb on ground before you. It's the only way to view map without using journal.

Kind of need to resurrect this thread. I am playing SK for the first time since the late 90s. I never finished the game then for whatever reason... I have need of assistance with afri's orb. I place it on the ground and it does nothing. Do I need to activate or something? Please help!

EDIT: Forget this post. My problem was lack of patience. I wasn't clicking out of my scroll after placing the orb on the ground.
