Whenever I exit Second Sight, my Windows' background colour is set to the Theme default I'm currently using.

It's becoming a bit of a nuisance to change the background colour to my own custom colour everytime I play Second Sight.

Hardware information: Operating system: Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Processor type and speed: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ RAM memory: 2048MB DDR2 800MHz Graphics card: ATI Radeon X1950 XT 256MB Sound card: M-AUDIO Delta 1010LT Sound drivers version: DirectX version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

You got me, I have no idea why it would do that. Out of curiosity, though, have you tried saving your current theme as a different filename? Saving it should keep the color settings you want.

That doesn't help. I'm still getting that nasty blue background everytime I run the game.

I'm wondering if the game has problems with two monitors, or if this happens with people with only one monitor (they might not see it if they have a fully scaled background).

Hmm... That might be the problem. I guess you could try disconnecting or disabling the second monitor and see how that goes.

Also, I found an option I've never used before, but might help. Find the shortcut to the game and right-click on it, then go to Properties. Then click on the Compatibility tab and put a check mark on "Disable visual themes." Then click Apply, then OK. This is supposed to prevent any themes from being applied to the program and then reset your theme back to normal when the program closes. I'm hoping that disabling themes for the game would keep it from being able to change anything.

I'm sorry for a so late reply, but neither disabling the visual themes or the second monitor helps.

this may be a shot in the dark, try playing the game under a non-administrator account on your computer.
