Well the topic pretty much sums up my question.

GoG version has gore.

I've only played for a few minutes, mainly due to flu, but I have seen a leg removed in combat. No heads, yet, but it does seem to be the uncensored version.

I bought the game and it's the full gore EU version, thanks guys (and gals?)!
I just put together another PC (A64 X2 5000+, 2GB RAM, GF8800GT), now I just need to drag a friend here to play this game in LAN :D

And good gore it is. Nothing like seeing a corpse with blood fountaining out of its head.

Yeah, I don't remember seeing it spout like that when I played this a few years ago. Alright!

Sacred was long ago (like 4 years ago) patched to remove the gore restriction. All versions of the game, regardless of region, have lovely spurting blood.

Hmm, I must be missing something then. No gratutious vilolence here. I played the UK demo ages ago and indeed it's gory, no gore here hehe
Okay, major brain fart, I didn't have 'Display of Violence' switch enabled.. Oops

...I just started the Gladiator class. When he killed his first opponent, the stumpy leg gushed blood. I must have hit that violence switch when I was in options, because I don't remember that happening before XD. Not that I'm complaining...

Thanks for confirming that this is the gore version (which I always felt was done almost comically if I remember correctly), everyone. Glad to hear that this also combines Sacred, Sacred Plus and Sacred Underworld. Many years ago I went through a LOT of time and expense to obtain the European retail releases these just so I could have the gore in.

Hell, I'm tempted to purchase this right now so that I don't have to dig out all my disks and install them... Darn it, GOG, you got my money again ;)

Removed a couple of goblin heads and put them on fire...definately unsencored version
