Gday got this and have been trying to play them and it just wont load it opens dos box goes full screen and just have a black screen i've uninstalled it and retryed still no luck if someone knows a way it would help or i'll just keep trying to get it running

I am currently having the same problem.
Despite trying all 5 modes in Graphic Mode Setup, the black screen persists.
Any advice?

Trying all five graphics option did nothing and me and my friend just wasted money on a game that doesn't work
P.S. do not play this on laptop because you need a num pad

There seems to be an issue with the select graphics mode executable, but you can change it manually in the .conf file, here's how:

1) Go into your Deus folder
2) look for a file called dosboxdeus.conf and open it with any text editor.
3) change the line "output=opengl" to have it so that instead of opengl, it's either surface, overlay, openglnb, or ddraw (you shouldn't need to do all 4, just try them in order and you can stop at the first one that works).

Even with editing the .conf file, the game might run but will never go full screen. a huge let down.
