After all, I am reading all these threads about the CD music being epic and such ... and let me just say that you are all correct!

The CD soundtrack is simply amazing and since there aren't a whole lot of sound effect in the game, I turn the music in game off and run the soundtrack while playing the game.

I love this game!

That's the reason I'm so happy I still have the 2 disc version of RoA 2 :-). Which I don't think was ever released internationally. I even got the soundtrack on my mp3 player, so that once in a while, I can simply enjoy it.

Those are some awesome games, nice to see somebody else is feeling the same way!

Does anybody know if it is possible to get the games running with the german cds? I think i still have all three games somewhere on cd.

Or should I buy the Play Indie "Heldenedition" which -as far as I know- comes with full music?

A simple dosbox setup, combined with ISO or the discs in the drive is enough to get the CDs running. Really basic Dosbox stuff, and it works on my netbook :-). This how I do my annual playthoughs.

But the next one is comming up soon and I'm really eyeing towards the Heldenedtiton. I'm still not sure of RoA 2 has the full soundtrack, it was released in single and double CD back in the day. Sooner or later that is the way to go. And it is only 15€....
