On my character, I have 62 packs of food. I'd like to split it up with the rest of the party. How can I do this/

In the german version, you simply picked it up and and placed it into the inventory of a different char and then a box appeared asking how many you want to trade over.

And I'm pretty sure I know where you went hunting to that much food ;-).

As Simon said, you simply click the stack, then "drop" it into another character's inventory. The game will ask how much to give the other character.

However, be careful, that much food has to be be very heavy. It probably is causing your characters to lose quite a few movement points in combat. I am still playing the first game at the moment but I have done a fair bit of exploring in the wilderness. I only take 2 meals per character unless I plan on spending more than 3 days in a dungeon.
