I too, will like to know when the Oddbox will be available on GoG. The reason being is that it was announced recently on the official Oddworld website.
If you don't want to read it, here's the quote:
"This budget-priced compilation of award-winning classics is now available on IGN D2D, Amazon, Stardock, GamersGate and G.O.G. The Oddboxx is also available on Valve’s Steam service.
To celebrate the event, a 7-day-long 50% discounted price sale begins on each service, from today."
When a commenter asked about the GoG release, the following reply was given:
"It’s up to them [GoG.com] when it goes up exactly; they should have everything in their hands..."
So my question is simply this: when can we expect the Oddbox to be available on GoG.com?
I was the one who commented on Oddworld.com, to which the above quote was written. I also contacted gog.com yesterday about when the release would happen but will probably have to wait until Monday for an answer. I'd like to buy it at GOG to support them, even though the Oddboxx is DRM free at other sites.
I really hope they release it this week some time. I've only ever played the first Oddworld game and would love to try the others, especially if they're a tiny bit cheaper this week with that promo. And of course I'd also prefer to buy them via GOG.
According to the post here (form back at the end of April): http://www.oddworld.com/?p=616 The Oddbox was just going through some testing and should be up soon.
Great news!!! I didn't know about this. Oddisey and Exodus are among my all time favourites. Instabuy for me, i never got to play Stranger’s Wrath. I have Munch Odissey (xbox), but it have some weird compatibility issues with the 360.
So happy now :>
facepalm: Just realized the post date... Any news?
