The Battle and Siege Manual for Lords of the Realm 1 says (p. 6): "for the combat statistics of each type of soldier, see the Quick Reference Card included with the game."

I can't find any mention of these statistics in the included QRC. Any insight?

Well, I have the Battle Reference Card scanned in and on my photobucket. Just in case GoG doesn't want it posted (as in the link gets removed), I'll post up the numbers as well.

Spear - 2 - 2
Archer - 1 - 0
Sword - 3 - 2
Mace - 3 - 1
Crossbow - 1 - 0
Axe - 4 - 1
Knight - 4 - 4

Notes:
1) The different abilities of unit types are reflected in the wages paid to maintain them after an army is raised.
2) When not in hand-to-hand combat, Archers and Crossbows are capable of ranged attacks. Archers can fire father than Crossbows, while Crossbows inflict more damage.

I have found PDF version of the Battle Reference Card and other missing manuals.
Also main manual incudes pages 43-44, which are missing in GOG and some other versions.
