LBartley: I purchased Sacred Gold, and planned to grab another copy to gift to my brother, but it's not showing the discounted price on the checkout screen when I try to gift it...

Discounts have not been made available in the past on sales, this still applies as far as I know.
You can set up a second account for your brother and purchase it as a sale there.

You can set up a second account for your brother and purchase it as a sale there.

That's what we ended up doing, though it would have been a lot easier if it worked as expected.
