I like checking gog for the great games I missed when i didn't have the opportunity to play them.

I came here for Fallout, and I'm staying for all the great new releases and the awesome community.

Origionally, I came to gog just to get Fallout and Fallout 2, but the low price and DRM freeness of games has brought me back! The more i look round the more I keep returning. Just one of those really lucky and brilliant decisions I made. woooo for gog.

~plays TIC. TAC. TOE! with steel clawwwws on your face~ how can you say that!

Not the face! NOT THE FACE!
To be fair, I said it was the worst game I could think of on GOG. Please take into account A) I didn't say it was a bad game, B) I haven't played every game on GOG and C) It's just my opinion.

I first came here mostly because I hoped to find some specific old games (Fallout among them), and I stayed because I love the idea behind this project.
Both the people behind it and the community are great, as well, which certainly doesn't hurt . ;)

Fenixp: Some people may like GoG for low prices, for no DRM, but I love it for what it is in the first place: For Good Old Games. I mean... Ha! Fallout under Vista! Shogo! Citizen Kabuto! I looove old games - why, that would be for an another long topic :D
But, I'm sitting here every day now, because I love this community since the day I've first visited forums. (most of time, there's) No flaming, no trolling, only intelligent and meaningful discussion, which is the reason why forums exist in the first place.

Nailed it perfectly.

I really enjoy the community here as well, despite receiving some -1 ratings for things I don't understand, but that topic is already being discussed in the For/Against the Rep System thread.
The games are nice to have the ability to get, some great classics here. I can't emphasize how much the community is in the picture for why I keep coming back, as well. I've only seen one instance of a person getting out of hand in anger and that was because they had issues getting stuck in a particular game.
Since we have to self moderate these boards (at this point) I'm glad the community is able to do so fairly well. So I guess the best part of GOG for me is having entertaining, (mostly) thoughtful posts to read when I get the time to check up on here.
Here's to more Good Ol' Games coming our way! I can't wait for Sacred Gold!

Tell everyone who asks I'm givng autographs for free. Ah, and when asked for photo, I look better from profile, even though I'm just a Sentient Hyper-Optimized Data Access Network.
Seriously: Good to know GoG is spreading all over the world :-) More people means more opinions :-)
