Profanity: Though to be fair, I am still waiting for GOG to get Grim Fandango so I can finally play it. I don't think I've seen it being sold anywhere else at all.
SirPrimalform: It might be difficult... I haven't even tried Grim Fandango on Windows 7 but I had a bit of trouble with it on XP about 7 or 8 years ago. Of course, that's before I had anything but dial-up internet so there may have been fan patches that I didn't know about.
This installer + game launcher works great in Win7. It also allows you to run it from the hard drive, which is much faster (and you don't have to bother with disk swapping either).

Nice! If we ever get Lucas Arts, GOG might be able to do something similar/get permission from the maker of the launcher.

Except it doesn't really work for a lot of people. I just couldn't get the damn thing to run the game.

Well I can't vouch for other people, but it worked fine for me. The installer and the launcher have to both be run as an administrator, and (for me at least) the actual grimfandango.exe file needs to be put in compatibility mode for win 98. That fixed all of my issues. It actually runs smoother for me on my Win 7 machine than it did on my old computer back when the game was new.

I did everything I could. All I got was broken graphics and no audio.

Notch - nobody was ever praised more by me without expectations of sexual intercourse in the near future, what a awesome person. Well, he linked to GOG first when he was promoting it earlier; how cool is that? Gosh, i'm like a 5 year old on christmas. <3
In case none guessed it yet, I am a big fan of the game. In the beginning it was just fun and I did not really think that anything was going to come out of it, but now I am starting to get excited and getting my hopes up... I will spam you with my updates until Psyconauts 2 is completed.
That's a very slight and fragile might for now. I wouldn't get hyped about this just so soon, really :). Tim's been in the industry for a good long while. My guess is he'd want a lot more assurances and legal clearances before even considering to agree to anything. Double Fine does manage quite well doing what they do (which is quite different from a full-on long term big project).
Over a six-to-eight month period, a small team under Tim Schafer's supervision will develop Double Fine's next game, a classic point-and-click adventure utilizing modern touch technology. Where it goes from there will unfold in real time for all the backers to see.
Pledge $150,000 or more: Tim Schafer (that’s me) will give last four remaining Triangle Boxed Day of the Tentacles, in original shrink-wrap.” (Limit of 1) (Holy crap, what am I thinking? I only have four of those!)

Yes, this is full of awesome :D
And it looks like they'll probably make it too...!
