Most of GOG.com users already know that Planescape: Torment is one of the best games ever created. What's even cooler about it, fans of the game made it even better with lots of mods and enhancements, but it's pretty difficult to figure out what modifications and in which order they should be installed. Thanks to Johnny Walker aka ThunderPeel2001, who originally posted this article a detailed description of the fastest and easiest way to get the best of Planescape: Torment.

Maybe it could help if you would tell me step for step what you did?

So you downloaded a file called sth. like "Ghostdogs_PST_UI_mod_v2.2.7z" or just "Ghostdogs_PST_UI_mod_v2.2".
Then you extracted that archive into a folder and copied all contens to "C:\GOG.com\Planescape Torment\" - right?
And you launched "Setup-GhostDog's-PST-UI.exe" in "C:\GOG.com\Planescape Torment\" ?

YESSSS!

After far too much tinkering, I got it to work.

Things to note:

*If you use a program other than 7Zip, your file structure might be messed up on extraction. This gave me no end of headaches.

*This Thread proved invaluable - my computer's native resolution is 1900x1200 - at least, that's what I thought. Changing that to 1920 x 1200 made the thing finally work!

Moral of the story: use 7zip, trust the SHS forums, and above all, listen to Ostwind83, who deserves a tech support salary!
