Vandal: Merry xmas right back atcha, folks. This might seem a bit self-serving, but really, the best way to thank us for anything we do that you like is to tell your friends :). We're doing this whole thing on a really grassroots level; at least for now we're not blowing a ton of money on advertising or whatever else, and are relying on word of mouth and PR to get the word out about the site.
Thanks again to everyone, and keep coming back... we've got more new stuff coming soon.

Hah, I have nothing but praise for you guys. In fact, I've been looking for a way to get some sort of poster I can sneak into work. (Whether it be just like a printed thing or otherwise.)

No worries dude, totally cool. Minimal advertising, grassroots methods -- yet another thing I love about the site..! I've been telling everyone I can. My co-worker knows I'm really into it and is going to buy me two games for christmas. Im buying another for my friend and hes buying one for me..when I get more money next month I'm buying probably five or so games myself..and every other press release you put out I report on this social gaming news site...lots of love. :)

Finally some games that dethroned Fallouts from first two places in "This week's bestsellers" chart :D

Amazing!
Thanks GOG!

thanks, even though both games were released as freeware in 2003 ;). at least now we get some additional material and we don't have to fiddle with scummvm :). well worth the price ;).

I didn't know where to post this but this is probably the best place;
Why in gods name is there no genre of "point-and-click" when i sort GOG games? really like them but i have no idea now where they are.

The genre's proper name is Adventure...

Ah well.. lets say for example I see arx fatalis, which is also adventure. I don't see that being a point and click. I just wanted a way to sort only real point and click games.
Thanks for the help but i think i posted a little too early, because i've found out how to do it.. was really stupid of me not to see it in the first place.
http://www.gog.com/en/search/sort/genre/point-and-click
its just a strange work-around because there is no real "point-and-click" button on the left side. ah well guess it has to do with the amount of games in that genre on GOG.

I have no idea why Arx Fatalis is in the adventure category. I was under the impression that it was an RPG. Maybe the GOG guys will look into it further after the holidays.
