The game needs Direct X7 to run correctly. Modern NVidia cards will not run it because they have no drivers that will go back that far. However ATI cards do include drivers that will run the game.

This is a DirectX 8 Game and not a DirectX 7 Game....why i'm so shure do you ask? Because this is one of the first games that supports HW T+L, and that's an DirectX 8 feature.
By the way: Of cource newer nVidia cards support DirectX7, they also support DirectX 3, 4 5, and 6.
Why i'm so shure? Because i play a lot of old games that are at that DirectX-levels.
Maybe Evolva do not run with modern nV Drivers, but it is not because nV doesen't support DirectX 7 or DirectX 8.
I also know DX7 or DX8 Games that do not run on ATIs anymmore.... nevertheless i don't go around and tell "ATI doesn't support DX7 & 8".

LOL, this is very very stupid. I have Nvidia 6600. Either it counts as old, or your statement is false.
