So I was flipping through November's issue of Play Magazine, and there was a little article on Interplay being resurrected. They mentioned that they have announced that there will be a sequel to EWJ as well as MDK and others, and for EWJ4 Doug TenNaple will serve as a consultant, has anybody else heard anything similar? Because if this is true, I am truly stoked.

Not only that, but they're making a new Earthworm Jim cartoon series and movie.

There were rumours way back in 2006 for a nintendo ds version and psp version which have been canned by the looks of it :(

To be fair, the PSP version looked absolutely horrible. It looked like they'd just taken the original game and done a really bad 3D remake (think along the lines of Super Smash Bros - a 2D game with 3D graphics). Codemasters made the same mistake with their Cannon Fodder PSP remake that was ultimately shelved.

So we're getting a remake of Earthworm Jim and Earthworm Jim 4? Hope we hear more this at E3 next month.
