Hi, does the version of Descent 3 that gog sells have the multiplayer component? I've saw some posts talking about multiplayer in Descent 3, but no posts that for sure were taking about gog's version of Descent 3. Also, is the multiplayer community for Descent 3 fairly active right now? Thanks for taking time to read my post!

I would be very interested to start playing multiplayer on this, but I'm new to it as well, I'm not sure what the necessary setup requires or anything. Does anyone know of a good tutorial or good site to help setup everything?

First, install D3.
Next, download Vortex from the link I posted, and extract it to a separate folder.
Start Vortex (make sure you're connected to the 'net).
Click "Settings"
-> D3 Settings
-> Set "Retail v1.4" to the MAIN.EXE file in the D3 directory.
Click "Save."
If the serverlist is not shown, click "D3 Serverlist" at the top.
Sort by players.
Right-click the game you want to join, download the mission if you don't have it, then join the game.
Prepare for Descent!
Yeah, if you're having the zip.dll/unzip.dll file not found issue, DO-CHECKOR posted a fix somewhere, just do a quick Google search.
