Hi, I used to play C1 and C2 a lot growing up. Recently I bought them again and C1 works just fine on 7x64, however, when I start C2 the world chooser pops up and I click the world, then I receive a "Server Busy" error saying to "switch to" or "retry" I try both but nothing works. I've tried running as administrator and tried compatibility mode, I've also tried reinstalling but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions??? I would love to play again.

Yeah same thing has happened to me, did you ever find a solution to problem? Does anyone know how this can be fixed. Keen to relieve my childhood and play Creatures again! :)

Oddly enough, I had this issue recently and can't remember how I fixed it. I have The Albian Years from GOG, and run it on Windows 7. Are you able to see the World Switcher before the error comes up? If so, I recommend creating a new world and deleting the original world. I know I did this at one point, which might have solved the issue.

Have you also installed the Creatures Remastered Patch?

When I had this issue, it almost looked like Creatures 2 was open twice: There were two windows with the game, and I could close out the error box and just play in one window.
